In this project, I collaborated with Stickball, a financial education platform, to redesign their website. The site includes a variety of tools to help users better understand and manage their finances, such as a financial quiz, a money-saving planning tool, a credit card usage simulator, and an AI-driven Q&A feature. My role as a UX/UI designer focused on creating a clean and professional design that effectively conveys financial information, making it accessible and engaging for users.
Financial Literacy Quiz: A tool to help users better understand financial concepts through interactive quizzes. Savings Planner: A feature designed to assist users in creating effective money-saving strategies tailored to their needs. Money Usage Simulator: An interactive simulator that allows users to explore different financial scenarios, such as using a credit card, to see the potential outcomes. AI Q&A: An AI-powered feature that answers users' financial questions, providing personalized guidance and advice.
Dashboard Redesign: The original 4-square menu layout was replaced with a dashboard that displays key information upfront. This change allows users to access relevant content without needing to click through multiple sections. Money Simulator Interface: The interface of the money usage simulator was revamped to make financial graphs easier to read. Buttons were grouped together to streamline the process, allowing users to select income/expense types with fewer clicks. Goal Board: The goal board was redesigned into a more intuitive dashboard style. The new design simplifies the process, making it easier for users to set and track their financial goals with fewer steps. Quiz Section: The financial literacy quiz was updated to reduce the number of clicks required, providing a smoother and more efficient experience for users.
Redesigning the Stickball website was an exciting challenge that allowed me to apply my expertise in UX/UI design to a complex financial platform. The project required careful consideration of user needs, especially in simplifying financial concepts and making the tools accessible and engaging. Through this redesign, the website now offers a more streamlined, user-friendly experience, helping users to better manage their finances.
